Cap de la Baronia de Pinós and admiral of the Catalan fleet that went to the conquest of Almería and Granada, where he was taken prisoner by the Moorish king of Almeria. But later, it was miraculously liberated by intercession of St. Stephen in 1147, in the event known as the Resurrection of the Centeness Donzelles in Bagà or as the Rescue of San Esteban in Vila-seca. When he died, he was buried in the Cistercian monastery of Santes Creus.
