Chiefs of Baronia de Pinós located in the village of Bagà, in the Berguedà. Stately jurisdiction that belonged to the lineage of the Pines since the 11th century.
Its limits were to the North the Cadí mountain range (to the north of which, nevertheless, they possessed Calbell de Banat or Vilanova de Banat, Quer Foradat and Ansovell), to Sus la riera de Malanyeu, in l’Est Gavarrós, on the border with the barony of Mataplana (high valley of Lillet), and west Pedraforca and the Sierra del Verd with the terms of Gósol, Feners, Saldes and Espà. In the center were Gréixer, Gisclareny, Vilella, Brocà i Bagà, who was the capital. Also included were the places of Pinós and Vallmanya, in the lower Solsonès.
